Time's just scooting by - Abigail reached her three-month birthday on April 28th (although she was twelve weeks old on April 22nd - figure that one out!). We pretty much were sick most of that time, finally getting over RSV by the end up April. We took Abigail to her first doctor's appointment to check her ears (which turned out to be fine). Other firsts include her first ride on a swing, her first sunburn (oops - she was only out a few minutes in the sun, too...guess she inherited that from me), moving up to size 3 in diapers (yikes!), tasting her first food (she licked a grape and a watermelon slice), riding in a shopping cart for the first time, figuring our how to suck on her fingers (when I'm holding her all I hear is "sluuurp...slurp, slurp, slurp..."), and discovering "outside" (so many things to look at!).
Now that the weather's warmer, Nana Turner likes to kidnap her - I look around and Mom and Abigail have vanished somewhere, usually to go swing on the swings or take a walk around the yard. I figure Mom'll bring her back when she gets hungry. Though I have discovered that if either mom has her, messy diapers don't bring Abigail back because grandmas apparently love changing messy diapers. Go figure!
