The results of the ultrasounds (internal and external) are that our baby is measuring around 8 1/2 weeks rather than the nearly 12 he should be at. There is also no sign at all of a heartbeat.
So we continue to wait. I'm leaning on Ben pretty heavily right now and I occasionally feel like a coward, but I'm very grateful he has the strength to allow me to lean on him this way. It is a very good thing that he is this baby's daddy.

Thank you so much, Grandma. Ben was going to tell you but then he just didn't have the heart to. I think that's why he suggested reading the blog. Somehow it's kind of tough to say on the phone, "we think we lost the baby."

Emily, I know you understand very well - I remember feeling so sad about the babies and knowing there wasn't much I could say to you about them. I'm so glad you have healthy Sticky Baby now! I'm sort of confined to the chair or the bed for a few days, so I have plenty of free time to talk. Just as soon as I charge my phone, anyhow... Comments are closed.
